MEMBERSHIP FAQ'S

1. Where do I get my membership card/membership badge?

The badge is issued directly and is not sent to you.

2. Can I suspend or interrupt my membership?

Yes, of course. It is sometimes necessary to take a break from training. If the break is longer than 4 weeks, you can suspend your membership for any of the following reasons: • Illness (by providing a medical certificate)
• Military service (by providing marching orders)
• Job-related overseas assignment (proof required)
• Pregnancy (by providing a medical certificate) For a processing fee of CHF 25.00, we will credit you the suspension period at the end of your membership period.

3. Can I use the studio every day?

 

Yes. Our basefit.ch studios are open every day, including Sundays and holidays. The opening hours of each studio can be viewed online or are posted the club.

4. Do I need to give notice at the end of my membership?


The following regulations apply to 1-year and 2-year contracts and to all other fixed-term contracts except for monthly rates:
The contract will be extended by another 12 months under the general terms and conditions, if it is not terminated by means of a written notice at least 3 months before expiry of the term.


The following applies to monthly contracts (Base Free /Base Free +):
Membership will be extended by another month from the registration date, if it is not terminated in writing 10 working days before automatic renewal occurs by email to: monatsabo@basefit.ch.

5. How old do I need to be to join?

You can sign a contract with basefit.ch from the age of 16. Consent of a parent or guardian is required in such cases. You must be 18 to register as a member online.

6. Can I use my badge to work out other basefit.ch clubs?

If you take advantage of a special offer price, access is limited to one studio only – with the standard price you can train in all clubs.

7. What if I am a little late in paying my membership fee?

THE GENERAL RULE IS:

If you contact us in advance (on receipt of the first payment reminder), depending on the situation we would be glad to discuss the available options.
You may contact us by sending an email to  mitgliederverwaltung@basefit.ch.mitgliederverwaltung@basefit.ch All payments that are not received on time will be subject to late payment charges. The applicable charges are CHF 10.00 after the 1st reminder and CHF 15.00 after the 2nd reminder.

8. I would like to change my existing membership package. Who should I talk to?

If you would like to book extras with your subscription – such as drinks, vibration training and solarium use – please contact your coach at the club. He will be happy to help you. If you would like to take advantage of a special offer price, this is possible only via our online shop: Choose the special offer price and, as the beginning of the subscription, the first day of the following month after your current subscription has expired.

9. I'm not sure when my next payment is due. Where can I get that information?

The club where you registered would be pleased to help you with your question.
